Hello and welcome to the East Valley Fire Department web site.

The East Valley Fire Department also known as Yakima County Fire Protection District #4 serves the city of Moxee , the area of Terrace Heights and most of the unincorporated area of the eastern Yakima Valley in south central Washington State . Our department serves approximately 15,000 residents by providing fire protection to a 125 square mile area and Emergency Medical Service response to approximately a 160 square mile area.      

The department is blessed with a knowledgeable and dedicated crew of both paid on call and career members working out of four fire stations and responding to 942 incidents in 2008.   

We, as members of the fire service, are here to serve our community and its citizens to the very best of our abilities. Our vision therefore is to train diligently, to be prepared at all times and to provide the best possible service that we can when our citizens require our response.
